Farmington Police Blotter: Oct. 18-20, 2013

The following arrest information was provided by the Farmington Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Larceny

Anthony T. Lebby, 40, of 55 Lyman St., New Britain, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, interfering with an officer and sixth-degree larceny on Oct. 20 at 4:49 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at JC Penney in the Westfarms mall. Police said that Lebby fled police and they located him later "behind the Marriott on Southeast Road." He was issued a $2,500 surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 22.

Carmen Gibson, 20, of 333 Lyme St., Hartford, and Daijah Grimes, 21, of 100 Pershing St., Bloomfield, were charged with criminal attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny on Oct. 18 at 6:41 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at JC Penney in Westfarms Mall. She posted a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 30.

Crystal Vicente, 21, of 18 Princeton St., Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree criminal attempt to commit larceny and sixth-degree larceny on Oct. 18 at 1:12 p.m. after a shoplifting incident at the JC Penney in the Westfarms Mall. She posted a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 30.

Criminal Impersonation

Joseph Samuel Vigo, 21, of 219 Frederick St., Bristol, was charged with criminal impersonation and interfering with a police officer on Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. Police said they arrested him "after he provided a false name to officers during an encounter with police." He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and turned over to Bristol police "who held several warrants for his arrest," police said. He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 30.
