Farmington Police Department: Jan. 1-3, 2014

Possession of Marijuana

Tommy Claudio, 29, of 161 Princeton St., Hartford, was charged with illegal manufacturing, distribution or sale of canibus or a controlled substance, possession of a hallucinogen or over four ounces of marijuana and operating a vehicle under suspension on Jan. 1 at 5:04 a.m. Police responded to a disabled motor vehicle complaint and found him in possession of more than a half pound of marijuana, police said. He was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 14. 

Operation While Under the Influence

Yolanda Ortiz, 45, of 67 Patton Dr., New Britain, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with failure to drive right on Jan. 1 at 2:56 a.m. after police stopped her vehicle on Farmington Avenue at the intersection with Park Drive. Police released her on a $1,500 non-surety bond and she is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 15. 

William Joseph Banulski, 26, of 113 Garden St., Farmington, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with failure to drive in the proper lane and traveling unreasonably fast on Jan. 1 at 2:41 a.m. after police stopped his vehicle on Meadow Road. Police released him on a $1,500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 15. 

Michael Raymond Nardini, 58, of 45 West Side Boulevard, Burlington, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with failure to drive right on Jan. 1 at 12:50 a.m. after police stopped his car on Scott Swamp Road. Police released him on a $1,500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 15. 

Matthew J. Nadeau, 26, of 46 Country Ln., Bristol, was charged with operation while under the influence and traveling too fast for the conditions on Jan. 3 at 12:02 a.m. after police stopped him at Plainville Avenue and Westwood Drive. Police released him on a $1,500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 22.
