Farmington Police Log: Feb. 23-25

Deidra Fatima Wiggins, 19, of 539 Blue Hills Ave., Hartford, was arrested Feb. 24 by warrant. She is accused of embezzling while working for JC Penney at Westfarms mall. Wiggins was charged with fourth-degree larceny and released on $10,000 non-surety bond. She is scheduled to appear March 5.

Domenic Pietrafesa, 19, of 152 Wildcat Hill Road, Harwinton, was arrested Feb. 24 after turning himself in on a warrant. He was charged with second-degree failure to appear. Pietrafesa was released on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear March 6.

Jesse Adams Abbotts, 22, of 389 Edgefield Ave., Milford, was arrested Feb. 23 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 25.

Michael Genovese, 54, of 560 Park St., Hartford, was arrested Feb. 22 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 6.

Ruben Lozada, 22, of 893 New Britain Ave., Hartford, was arrested Feb. 22 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 6.

Rogelio Ortega, 20, of 17 Jackson St., Manchester, was arrested Feb. 22 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and possession of narcotics. According to police, he was in possession of marijuana while shoplifting at JC Penney. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 6.
