Farmington Police Log: Feb. 27-28

Cardia Suzette Powell, 22, of 110 Magnolia St., Hartford, was arrested Feb. 27 after turning herself in on a warrant. According to police, she is accused of fleeing the scene of an accident at Westfarms mall as she was trying to escape the scene of a shoplifting incident. Powell was charged with evading responsibility and reckless driving. She was held on $20,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 27.

Juan Carlos Estela, 21, of 37 Bartholomew St., Bristol, was arrested Feb. 28 at Hartford Court and charged with criminal violation of a protective order and operating under suspension. He was held on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 28.

Wojciech Budrewicz, 35, of 166 Dale Road, Wethersfield, was arrested Feb. 28 by warrant at the Wethersfield Police Department. According to police, he is accused of fleeing the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place Feb. 6. He was charged with evading responsibility, following too close and interfering with an officer. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 5.

Norman Joseph Chasse, 54, of 40 Knollwood Road, Burlington, was arrested Feb. 27 at the intersection of Morea Road and Cope Farms and charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 6.

Wilberto Antonio Casiano, 32, of no certain address was arrested Feb. 27 at Burger King and was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with an officer and sixth-degree larceny. She was also charged with violation of probation. According to police, Casiano was arrested for shoplifting and found with crack cocaine paraphernalia. When arrested, she gave police a fake name, police said. She was held on $45,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 28.

Tai Alexis Ingrid Tyrell, 20, of 12 Forest Lane, Bloomfield, was arrested Feb. 28 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny and possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana. She was released on $250 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 6.

Larry Chace, 61, of 20 Sylvan Road, New Britain, was arrested Feb. 28 at Hartford Court by warrant and charged with second-degree harassment. According to police, he is accused of harassing a woman by text. He was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 28.
