Blessing Smith, 21, of 46 Vine St., Hartford, was arrested Nov. 7 by warrant in Hartford Superior Court and charged with third-degree assault, sixth-degree larceny, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, third-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit third-degree robbery. According to police, Smith fought with loss prevention officers when they stopped Smith while shoplifting from Hollister at Westfarms mall. She was held on $50,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 7.
Andre Brinson, 32, of 1477 Farmington Ave., Farmington was arrested Nov. 6 at home during a domestic disturbance and was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer. Brinson was also served a warrant and charged with second-degree failure to appear. He was held on $15,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 6.
