Farmington Police Offer One-Night Women's Safety Class

Members of the department will teach self-defense techniques and discuss safety tools.

The Farmington Police Department is offering a one-night women's personal safety class. 

The class will offer exposure to simple personal defense techniques, personal safety tools and techniques and the required mind set to help keep you safe. 

Any woman will benefit from actively participating or simply observing. The class is open to all women over the age of 16.

The class will be held Tuesday, April 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Yates Room of the Farmington Police Department. It will be taught by members of the Farmington PD with backgrounds in the areas of personal safety and arrest and control tactics.
