Police Identify Injured Pedestrian from Route 6 Crash

Police also released the name of the driver.

Police identified Lauren Galasso, 51, of New Britain, as the pedestrian seriously injured after a car struck her on Route 6 Monday night just before 7 p.m. 

Galasso is still in critical condition at Hartford Hospital, according to police. 

Farmington resident Faith Mercier, 53, was driving the car that ran into Galasso on the busy state highway Sept. 30.

The Hartford Courant reported that police said she stayed at the crash site Monday after the accident and was cooperative with the investigation.
