Farmington Restaurant Burglary Suspect Is Charged


Farmington Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the burglary of a restaurant earlier this month.

According to the Farmington Police arrest log, William A. Kelaher, 33, with no certain address in Farmington, was arrested after he checked out of John Dempsey Hospital on June 18.

Police had obtained an arrest warrant charging Kelaher with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and third-degree criminal mischief in connection with the June 13 burglary of The Stonewell Restaurant at 354 Colt Hwy.

The report did not indicate what was taken during the incident.

According to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website, Kelaher's remains in custody in lieu of $35,000 bond. He's scheduled to return to state Superior Court in Hartford on July 15.
