Farmington Volunteer Firefighters Honored
Members recognized for service to the department.
The Farmington Volunteer Fire Department held its annual banquet on Saturday, Feb. 23. The event was well attended and several guests from the Town Council were in attendance.
The following members were presented with awards:
- Rookie of the year: Zac Columbe
- EMT of the year: Tony Flamio
- Firefighter of the year: Mike Botti
- Chief's Award: Mike LaPierre
- President's Award: Bob O'Meara

"Typically, individuals are honored for their individual contributions to the betterment of the department. Mike continues to be a top contributor to both the operations and administrative sides of the department," O'Meara said.
