Four Arrested on Drug Charges Tuesday

Arrests for May 4

Melissa Tash, 24, of 44 Silver Lane, East Hartford, was arrested May 2, by warrant and charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear and first-degree criminal trespassing. She was held on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear May 3 and May 4, 2011.

Zachery Martin Boswell, 24, of 2 Horseshoe Lane, was arrested by warrant May 2 and charged with criminal impersonation. Boswell is accused of identifying himself as a Farmington Police officer during a phone conversation in an attempt to get information, according to police documents. He was released on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear May 10, 2011.

Garrett Fox, 23, of 275 Main St. Apt. C4, was arrested May 2 at 275 Main St. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of a drug factory after Farmington Police Narcotics Response Team executed a search warrant at his apartment and found marijuana amphetamines and related paraphernalia, according to police documents. Fox was released on $25,000 non-surety bond and turned over to West Hartford police for charges related to an incident in the town. He is scheduled to appear May 10, 2011.

James Luther, 22, of 275 Main St. Apt. C4, was also arrested May 2 at 275 Main St. after Farmington Police Narcotics Response Team executed a search warrant at his apartment. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell and possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana. Luther was released on $25,000 non-surety bond and turned over to West Hartford police for charges related to an incident in the town. He is scheduled to appear May 10, 2011.

Justin Edward Winchester, 22, of 10 Greystone Road, West Hartford, was arrested May 2 at the intersection of Colt Highway and Carrier Place and charged with possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 4, 2011.

Joel Roeling Hava, 24, of 157 Town Hill Road, New Hartford, was arrested May 2 at 1 Batterson Park Road, where police said he was found with marijuana and prescription medications. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal obtaining or supplying, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and violation of a restraining order. He was held on $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear May 3, 2011.
