Hartford Teens Charged With Shoplifting at Westfarms

Arrests for Feb. 28

Julie Burke, 39, of 30 Lovely St. was arrested Feb. 27 at the intersection of Moses Place and Plainville Avenue. She was charged with failure to obey a stop sign, operating under the influence and traveling too fast for conditions. She was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 9, 2011.

Richard Monahan, 46, of 6 Sunningdale Road was arrested Feb. 27 on Town Farm Road and charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 9, 2011.

Eric Gallichio, 20, of 10 Berntson Way, Newington, was arrested Feb. 26 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, operating under suspension and possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 8, 2011.

Sonny Mar Cabrera, 25, of 216 Glen St., New Britain, was arrested Feb. 26 at home and accused of contacting her ex-boyfriend in violation of a court order. She was charged with criminal violation of a protective order and second-degree harassment. She was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 28, 2011.

Ervin Louis Macking, 51, of 9 Schenone Court, Plainville, was arrested Feb. 26 at the intersection of the Colt Highway and Reservoir Road. He was charged with failure to drive right, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 9, 2011.

Willie Grant, 18, of 63 Mansfield Road, Hartford, was arrested Feb. 25 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He is accused of shoplifting from Lord & Taylor. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 2, 2011.

Trent Derwin Von-Lee, 37, of 46 Mountain Farms Road, West Hartford, turned himself in on a warrant Feb. 25. He was charged with issuing a bad check and third-degree larceny in connection with a payment for car repairs. He was released on a written promise to appear in court.

Cecil Grant, 18, of 502 Mary Shephard Place, Hartford, was arrested Feb. 25 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. Grant was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 2, 2011. According to police documents, Grant is accused of shoplifting from Lord & Taylor with a juvenile who was also charged in the incident.

Johnisha Lafrazier, 21, of 107 Kensington St. Apt. A, New Haven, was arrested Feb. 25 at Westfarms mall and charged with fifth-degree larceny. He is accused of shoplifting from two stores in the mall. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 2, 2011.
