Hartford Woman Accused of Manslaughter in the Death of Her Boyfriend in Farmington

Three young children were in the car at the time of the accident

Michelle Rosado, 22 of Hartford was arraigned Tuesday on second-degree manslaughter charge for allegedly causing the death of her boyfriend, Efrain Ortiz on May 10 on Route 9 in Farmington, the Hartford Courant reports. 

Ortiz, who was driving at the time of the accident, hit a sound barrier with three young children in the car, the Courant reports. Rosado allegedly grabbed the steering wheel or Ortiz’s arm, which led to the accident, the Courant reports. Ortiz was legally intoxicated at the time of the accident, the Courant reports.
