Huge Bond After Suspect Allegedly Resisted Arrest

Arrests for Dec. 2

Jennifer Glinka, 40, of 355 East St., Stafford Springs, was arrested Dec. 1 at 319 New Britain Ave. when she was served with a warrant and charged with second-degree forgery and third-degree larceny. She was released on a written promise to appear on Dec. 7, 2010.

Jacquelyn Thompson, 41, of 161 Washington St., New Britain, was arrested Dec. 1 at 1600 Southeast Road and charged with second-degree breach of peace, sixth-degree larceny and third-degree robbery. According to police reports Thompson is accused of shoplifting and using physical force against loss prevention personnel to avoid arrest. She was released on $30,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Dec. 2, 2010.
