Jeep Rolls Over on New Britain Ave.

Driver not injured in Wednesday morning accident.

A Canton man's day got off to a bumpy start Wednesday when his Jeep rolled over on New Britain Avenue around 7 a.m.

The man, who declined to be identified, was not hurt. Police believe he lost control of the Jeep as he rounded the corner just before 751 New Britain Ave., went over the curb and the vehicle flipped onto its side. A row of large bushes broke the Jeep's fall, Tunxis Hose Fire Chief Brian Hunter said.

Some damage was done to the bushes and to the roof of the Jeep, which Farmington Motorsports righted (see video) and towed away.
