Larceny Added to 2008 Felony Charges Against Farmington Native

Arrests for July 12. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Kyle Hennig, 29, of 73 Byron Drive, Avon, was arrested July 12 and charged with sixth-degree larceny during an appearance in Hartford court, where he was held on $2,500 surety bond. He was scheduled to appear July 12, 2011. According to the state judicial website, Hennig, who grew up in Farmington, was sentenced to three years in jail, execution suspended, after pleading guilty to taking a bribe while administering a state exam in November 2008. The state judicial website also shows Hennig still has three counts of second-degree forgery and three counts of receiving a bribe pending against him for later incidents in the same period. The next court appearance in that case, for which bond is set at $75,000, is scheduled for July 15.

Jose Juan Rodriguez, 25, of 83 Wolcott St., Bristol, was arrested by warrant July 11 during a motor vehicle stop on Scott Swamp Road and charged with second-degree failure to appear. He was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear July 19, 2011.

Sandra Carter, 51, of 85 Old Town Road Apt. 19, Vernon, turned herself in on a warrant July 11 in connection with an accident that occurred March 10 at Westfarms mall. She is charged with having no insurance. Carter was released on a written promise to appear July 20, 2011.

Jose Diaz, 49, of 152 South St. Extension, Bristol, was arrested by warrant July 11 on Robbins Street in Bristol. According to arrest reports, Diaz is charged with criminal violation of a protective order and disorderly conduct in connection with a July 3 domestic violence incident. He was held on $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear July 12, 2011.
