Larceny, DWI, Violation of Protective Order — Recent Farmington Arrests

Arrests as reported by the Farmington Police Department from July 11 through July 14, 2014.

July 11:

  • Leonardo Jose Martinez-Polit, 47, of 4 Redstone Way, Farmington, was arrested about 8:20 p.m. on charges of second-degree breach of peace, interfering with a 911 call and disorderly conduct by police who obtained an arrest warrant. He was released after posting $5,000 bond and assigned a July 14 court date.

July 12:

  • Dwayne Boyd, 50, of 27 Woodland Dr., Hartford, was arrested about 3:45 p.m. on a fifth-degree larceny charge in connection with a shoplifting incident at Lord & Taylor in the Westfarms Mall. He was released after posting $1,500 bond and assigned a July 23 court date.
  • David C. Walsh, 64, of 14 Tanglewood Rd., Farmington, was arrested about 12:30 p.m. by police who had several arrest warrants for him. Walsh was charged with two counts of first-degree failure to appear in court, one count each of second-degree failure to appear in court and criminal violation of a protective order. He was held in lieu of a total bond of $23,500 and assigned a July 14 court date.
  • Ibrahim Afolabi, 23, of 221 School St., Manchester, was arrested about 2:20 a.m. on charges of operating under the influence, operating under suspension and failure to drive in proper lane following a motor vehicle stop on Colt Highway near   Carrier Place. He was released on $1,500 bond and assigned a July 23 court date.
  • Chulhwan Kim, 44, of 32 King Richards Ct., Avon, was arrested about 12:45 a.m. on charges of operating under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane following a motor vehicle stop on Farmington Avenue. He was released on $1,500 bond and assigned a July 23 court date.
July 14:
  • Ambre Mitchell, 21, of 34 Terry Plains Rd., Bloomfield, surrendered at 7:40 a.m. to police who obtained an arrest warrant stemming from a reported March 2014 shoplifting incident at Nordstrom's Rack, 1600 Southeast Rd. Charges include sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer. She was released on $1,500 bond and assigned a July 23 court date.
