Man Accused of Stealing Cell Phone, Selling It On Craiglist

Mark Daniel Mastracchio, 27, of 27 Edward St., East Haven, was arrested Jan. 15 in Branford and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was released on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 19, 2011. According to police documents, Mastracchio is accused of stealing a cell phone from Radio Shack at Westfarms mall and then selling it on Craigslist.

George Ziaoqi Shi, 53, 2 Robin Road, was arrested Jan. 16 at home and charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace in connection with a domestic disturbance. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 18, 2011.

Lisa Mary Padykula, 56, of 156 Moore St., Chicopee, MA, was arrested Jan. 15 at Nordstroms and charged with fourth-degree larceny. She was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 25, 2011. According to police documents Padykula is accused of shoplifting $1,800 worth of electronics accessories, jewelry and cosmetics from the Westfarms mall store.

Donnell Payne, 38, of 28 Farmington Meadows Drive, was arrested Jan. 15 at home in connection with a domestic disturbance and charged with second-degree breach of peace. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 18, 2011.

Tyler Gibson, 21, of 99 Peacedale St., Bristol, was arrested Jan. 15 on Scott Swamp Road and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 26, 2011.
