Man Accused of Trespassing in Condo's Basement

Josiah Michael Wilcox, 32, of 64 South St., New Britain turned himself in on a warrant Feb. 11 and was charged with second-degree failure to appear. He posted $500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear Feb. 21, 2012.

Scott Alan Carpenter, 47, of 8 Lazy Lane was arrested Feb. 10 at 9 Greenbriar Drive and charged with first-degree criminal trespassing. According to arrest records, Carpenter was caught going through communal basements in the Greenbriar condominium complex looking for cans. He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 15, 2012.

Michael Bragg, 22, of 19 Oxford St., Manchester was arrested by warrant Feb. 13 in Manchester and was charged with sixth-degree larceny. According to arrest reports, Bragg was accused of stealing a customer’s cell phone at Taco Bell at Westfarms mall on Sept. 27, 2011. Bragg posted $2,500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear Feb. 13, 2012.

Kevin Holmgren, 43, of 1153 Main St., Hartford was arrested by warrant Feb. 15 at Goldroc Diner and charged with second-degree breach of peace, first-degree criminal trespass, sixth-degree larceny and third-degree robbery. According to arrest records, Holmgren is accused of trying to shoplift from Hollister at Westfarms mall on Jan. 25, 2012 and fighting with security when they tried to arrest him. He was held on $50,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 15, 2012.

Karen Sullivan, 52, of 425 George Washington Turnnpike, Burlington turned herself in on a warrant and was charged with violation of probation. Sullivan posted $5,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear Feb. 21, 2012.

Kendra Comeau, 40, of 45 Round Hill Road, Southington was arrested Feb. 16 at home and was charged with sixth-degree larceny. According to arrest records, Comeau is accused of stealing a cell phone from an acquaintance. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 22, 2012.

Melanie Pasley, 24, of 25 Montowese St., Hartford was arrested Feb. 15 at Westfarms mall and charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny. According to arrest records, Pasley was allegedly shoplifting at Hollister and H&M at Westfarms mall.

Shironda Smith, 22, of 142 Barker St., Hartford was arrested Feb. 15 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She is accused of shoplifting at H&M at Westfarms. Smith was released on $250 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Feb. 22, 2012.
