Man Arrested By Warrant After Fleeing from Earlier Warrant Service

Arrests for Sept. 1

Kelia McLeod, 22, of 67 Adams St., Hartford, was arrested Aug. 23 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 31, 2011.

Gary Marchesi, 49, of 116 Birdseye Road, was arrested by warrant Aug. 23 and charged with interfering with an officer, restricted turn and failure to signal and operating under suspension due to alcohol. According to the arrest report, Marchesi fled from officers on July 31 while they were attempting to serve an unrelated warrant. He was released on $25,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 30, 2011.

William Viera, 43, of 55 Grandview Drive, Apt. C, was arrested Aug. 23 and charged with violation of probation. According to arrest reports, he was transported from a correctional facility and turned over to the court for arraignment. He was held on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 23, 2011.

Kimberly Ann Szpiruk, 26, of 205 North St. Apt 36, New Britain, was arrested Sept. 1 at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Westerberg Drive. She was charged with failure to drive right, operating under suspension and operating under the influence. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 7, 2011.

Rachael Sullivan, 43, of 14 Skyline Drive, was arrested Aug. 31 at home and charged with interfering with an officer. According to arrest reports, Sullivan gave officers false information about her identity during a domestic violence investigation. She posted $100 cash bond and was scheduled to appear Sept. 7, 2011.
