Man Arrested on Drug Charges at Tunxis Mead

Arrests for June 2

Bernard Barrett, 21, of 377 New Park Ave., Hartford, turned himself in May 31 on a warrant and was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. According to police documents, he is accused of shoplifting from Hollister at Westfarms mall on May 10. Barrett was released on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear June 8, 2011.

Eric Aaron Woodie, 20, of 21 Lion St., New Britain, was arrested June 1 at 1 Tunxis Meade Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to keep narcotics in original container, illegal manufacture, distribution or sale of a controlled substance, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and possession of narcotics. According to police documents, Woodie was found with marijuana and related paraphernalia during a domestic disturbance investigation. He posted $10,000 surety bond and was turned over to New Britain Police on a warrant out of New Britain. Woodie is scheduled to appear June 7, 2011.

Miguel Dicicco, 43, of 74 Elam St., New Britain, was arrested June 1 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 8, 2011.
