Man Found Sleeping in Damaged Car Charged with Evading Responsibility

Arrests for March 25

Shannon Neron, 29, of 149 Lincoln St., New Britain, was arrested March 25 at the intersection of South Road and Goodrich Road, where officers reportedly found him asleep in his heavily damaged car. Neron was charged with evading responsibility, misuse of plate, no insurance, operating without a license, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana. According to police, he struck a parked car and left the scene. He was reportedly in possession of marijuana when he was arrested. Neron was scheduled to appear in court on April 5, 2011.

Tony Needham, 31, of 9 Center St., Apt. B, Collinsville, was arrested March 25 in Bidwell Square and charged with failure to have tail lamps, failure to drive right, and operating under the influence. He was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on April 6, 2011.

Marcos Luna, 29, of 1700 Farmington Ave., Apt. C., was arrested March 25 and charged with operating under the influence, after a motor vehicle stop. He was released on a $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on April 6, 2011.

Courtney Spada, 19, of 1 Rockridge Road, New Britain, was arrested March 24 on Scott Swamp Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana and speeding at more than 60 miles per hour. She was released on a written promise to appear in court March 30, 2011.

Carrie Cello, 32, of 12 Usher Ave., Plainville, was arrested March 24 at Westfarms mall and charged with fourth-degree larceny. He was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in court on March 26, 2011.
