Manchester Police Investigating Woodland Street Home Invasion

A female victim struggled with an unknown male suspect when he entered her Woodland Street apartment Tuesday evening.

Manchester Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred Tuesday night when they say an unidentified Hispanic man entered a Woodland Street apartment while a woman and small child were home, and a brief struggle ensued. 

According to police, the home invasion occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m. at 146 Woodland St. when an unidentified Hispanic man entered an apartment where a woman and small child resided. Police say the woman briefly struggled with the man, and that the suspect then fled the scene. Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans, a dark "beanie" style hat and a backpack.

The female victim suffered "minor non-life threatening injuries," according to police. 

Police said it appears that the suspect was looking for specific items that he believed was located in the apartment, and that it appears the residence was not targeted at random.

James try for a min to stop talking like a news anchor or politician. I never said she should have killed anyone. Oh that's right "The sky is falling" lol Spreading fear will not solve the problem. Once again James when does this conversation turn from law abiding citizens to criminals.
