New York Man Arrested Twice in One Day

Arrests for July 18

Brian Porch, 36, of 115 Columbus Avenue, West Harrison, NY, was arrested twice over the weekend for charges of driving under the influence. He was first arrested July 16 at 4:26 a.m. at 110 Main St., where officers found him sleeping in his car behind St. Patrick Church, according to arrest reports. Porch was charged with operating under the influence and released on $1,500 non-surety bond, with a suspended license. Less than 24 hours later, an officer stopped Porch for a motor vehicle violation, again at 110 Main St. This time he was charged with operating under the influence and driving under suspension. He was released after posting $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear July 27, 2011.

Jun Shen, 47, of 10 Hunters Ridge, Unionville, was arrested July 17 at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Walnut Street and charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. Shen was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 27, 2011.

Danielle Bouvier, 25, of 503 Meyers Drive, Rocky Hill, was arrested July 17 on the Farmington River by Farmington Avenue and charged with failure to keep right on a curve or hill and operating under the influence. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 27, 2011.

Laurie Sodergren, 32, of 29 Farm Drive, Farmington, was arrested July 16 at the intersection of Perry and Elm streets and charged with operating and unregistered motor vehicle, operating under the influence and failure to signal on a restricted turn. She was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 27, 2011.

Bianca Diaz, 24, of 224 New Britain Ave. Apt. 1, Unionville, was arrested July 16 at the intersection of New Britain Avenue and Burnham Avenue and charged with failure to have tail lamps and operating under the influence. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 27, 2011.

Joseph Hernandez-Jensen, 22, of 1455 Farmington Ave. Apt. W, was arrested July 16 at 9 School St. and charged with third-degree criminal mischief. According to arrest reports he damaged landscaping at the Olive Bar after being trespassed from the business. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 27, 2011.

Gary Oakes, 61, of 48 Skinner Drive, New Britain, was arrested July 15 at 499 Farmington Ave., and charged with operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 20, 2011.

John Torsiello, 61, of 211 Barton St., Torrington, was arrested July 15 at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Wyndwood Road and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 27, 2011.

Jay Allen Volts, 57, of 22 8th St., Bayville, NY, was arrested July 14, at the intersection of Scott Swamp Road and Plainville Avenue and charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond  and scheduled to appear July 20, 2011.
