Police Blotter: Sept. 11-17, 2013

Burglary

Ronnie St. Denis, 18, of 135 Rockwell Ave., Bristol, was charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit third-degree criminal mischief, fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny on Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. Police arrested him on a warrant after he was "accused of breaking into a snack shack at the Farmington Country Club," police said. He was released after posting a $7,500 surety bond.

Violation of a Protective Order

Andrew Scott Garfinkel, 49, of 303 57th St., New York, NY, was charged with criminal violation of a protective order on Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. Police held him on a $150,000 bond and he was scheduled to appear in court the next day.

Breach of Peace

Jamie Lynn Stewart, 28, of 44 Orange St., Meriden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree criminal mischief and operation while under the influence on Sept. 15 at 2:36 a.m. Police arrested her at 82 Tunxis Village Rd. after a domestic disturbance and issued her a $5,000 non-surety bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 24.

Thomas Stambaugh, 46, of 25 Village View Ln., Unionville was charged with second-degree breach of peace on Sept. 14 at 9:46 p.m. Police arrested him in his home after a domestic disturbance, police said, and issued him a $1,500 non-surety bond. Stambaugh is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 16.

Operation While Under the Influence

Trevor A. Gaudette, 28, of 1752 Farmington Ave., Farmington, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with traveling unreasonably fast on Sept. 15 at 2:22 a.m. Police stopped his car on South Main Street and issued him a $1,5000 non-surety bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 16.

Jason Bagley, 26, of 36 Grasmere Ave., Apt. 2, Fairfield, was charged with operation while under the influence and cited with failure to drive right on Sept. 14 at 12:57 a.m. Police arrested him after stopping his motor vehicle at Farmington Avenue. He was issued a $1,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 25.

Larceny

Edna Lewis, 49, of 93 Chadwick Ave., Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. Police arrested her at the Westfarms Mall after a shoplifting incident at JC Penney and issued her a $1,500 non-surety bond, police said.

Kyshilifa Boyd, 23, of 131 Skipper St., New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny on Sept. 14 at 3:14 p.m. Police arrested her at the Westfarms Mall after a shoplifting incident at H&M. She is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 25.

Taneesha Marks, 23, of 23 Kelsey St., Apt. 2, New Britain received identical charges in the same case and was issued a $1,500 non-surety bond. She is also scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 25.

Monique Rene Bacote, 24, of 8 Kelsey St., New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Sept. 13 at 3:22 p.m. Police arrested her at the Westfarms Mall after a shoplifting incident at H&M and issued her a $10,000 non-surety bond, police said.

Ashley Nicole Scales, 22, of 63 Huntington St., Apt. 1F, Hartford, and Stephanie Tavarez, 21, of 1080 Capitol Ave., Hartford, were charged with sixth-degree larceny on Sept. 12 at 6:43 p.m. Police arrested them at the Westfarms Mall after a shoplifting incident at H&M. Police issued them each a $500 non-surety bond. They are sccheduled to appear in court on Sept. 18.

Failure to Respond to an Infraction

Wojciech Budrewicz, 36, of 166 Dale Rd., Wethersfield, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction on Sept. 17 at 1:45 p.m. He turned himself into police on a warrant and posted a $90 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 24.

Harassment

Carol A. Turansky, 56, of 895 Matthews St., Apt. 51, Bristol, was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment. She turned herself in on a warrant after being "accused of harassing by text/telephone," police said. Turansky was released after posting a $2,500 surety bond. She was scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 18.
