Police Charge Two With DUI Thursday

Arrests for July 14

Christopher Ryan Duran, 24, of 618 Albany Turnpike, Canton, was arrested July 14 at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and I-84 and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, number of head lamps, and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 20, 2011.

Sean William Haggerty, 18, of 15 Anglers Bend, Unionville, was arrested July 14 on Farmington Avenue and charged with failure to keep right on a curve or hill, operating under the influence under age 21, and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 20, 2011.

Drupati Narine, 45, of 363 Campfield Ave., Hartford, was arrested July 13 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She is accused of shoplifting from JCPenney. Narine was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 20, 2011.

Nicholas Ferrante, 18, of 49 Loomis Drive, West Hartford, was arrested July 12 at 303 Tunxis Road and charged with carry and sale of a dangerous weapon. According to arrest reports, Ferrante was found in possession of marijuana, paraphernalia and brass knuckles. He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 19, 2011.
