Police: Heroin Needle Found During Shoplifting Struggle

Arrests for Aug. 8

Tiffany Swan, 23, of 79 Finch Road, Wolcott was arrested Aug. 5 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny, third-degree robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to arrest reports, Swan was found shoplifting and became combative when approached by loss prevention officers. During the struggle, the report says, a hypodermic needle used to inject heroin was found. Swan was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 8, 2011.

Elizabeth Chaparro-Rosero, 40, of 91 Huntington St. Apt. 8, Hartford, was arrested Aug. 7 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 17, 2011.

Cinthya Rosero-Cifuentes, 19, of 91 Huntington St. Apt. 8, Hartford, was arrested Aug. 7 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 17, 2011.

Fashion Nicole Robertson, 20, of 69 Martin St., Hartford, was arrested Aug. 7 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny, second-degree breach of peace and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. She was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 17, 2011.

Natasha Downs, 27, of 68 Imperial Drive, Manchester, was arrested Aug. 6 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 17, 2011.

Ryan Klein, 33, of 176 Atwater St. Apt. U1, Plantsville, was arrested Aug. 5 on Farmington Avenue and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, operating under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Aug. 17, 2011.
