Police: Man Invaded Ex's Home, Restrained Her

A Meriden man was arrested and charged with home invasion after police say he broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house, assaulted her and damaged some of her property on June 12.

Erdan Sejdic, 23, of 304 Cook Ave., Meriden, was charged by warrant June 18 at the Wallingford Police Department and was released on $50,000 bond.

He was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace, first-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, home invasion, operating under suspension, reckless endangerment and first-degree unlawful restraint.

He was scheduled to appear in court June 19, 2012.


Chase Tryon, 21, of 8 Lynch Terrace, Enfield, was arrested by warrant June 19 and charged with evading responsibility, failure to obey a traffic control sign, following too close and no insurance. According to police, Tryon rear-ended a vehicle on Nov. 14, 2011, then fled the scene. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 27, 2012.

Alan Lee Hopper, 25, of 30 Schulz St., New Britain, was arrested June 19 at 1600 Southeast Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than one-half ounce marijuana first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia with less than half an ounce of marijuana. According to police, Hopper was found with marijuana, related paraphernalia and crack cocaine paraphernalia. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 27, 2012.

Stephen Joseph Ronzello, 45, of 6 Anglers Bend Drive, was arrested June 19 at home and charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace during a domestic dispute with his wife. Ronzello was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 20, 2012.
