Police Offering Women's Safety Class

Program has been offered for 18 years to help women learn personal safety.

The Farmington Police Department is hosting the 18th annual Women’s Personal Safety Program on Thursday, March 14th and Thursday, March 21st 2013. Thursday, March 28th is reserved as a snow date. The classes run from 6pm to 9pm in the Yates Community Room at the police department.

Officers will cover many topics related to personal safety such as: Home and work safety, identity theft, how to be a good witness, sexual assault, and family domestic violence.

We offer this program at no charge to any female over age 16. Seats fill up quickly. To reserve your seat contact Detective Susan DiVenere at (860) 675-2462 or email at DiVenereS@Farmington-CT.org.
