Police Release Singleton's Toxicology Results from Fatal Farmington Country Club Crash

Thaddeus L. Singleton III, who has a connection to former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez, died when the car he was driving crashed into the Farmington Country Club in June.

The driver who died when the car he was driving crashed into the Farmington Country Club in June had drugs in his system, Farmington police said Monday, Dec. 23.

The toxicology report police received from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Farmington identifies multiple drugs that were in 33-year-old Thaddeus L. Singleton III's system when he died. He would have been 34 in mid-July.

The tests detected cocaethylene, cocaine, phencyclidine, benzoylecgonine and oxycodone in his system, as well ethanol with a result of ".03 percent."

Singleton, of Bristol, has known ties to former New England Patriots football player Aaron Hernandez, of Bristol, who is under investigation for the murder of Odin Lloyd. Singleton was married to Tanya Singleton, Hernandez's cousin who faces an accessory charge in the case, Southington Patch previously reported. 

Tabitha Perry, 27, the woman who was a passenger in Singleton's car during the fatal crash in Farmington survived the accident with injuries but died an untimely death Monday, Dec. 16 in the hospital after being found unconscious at a friend's house in Southington, Southington Patch reported. Police in Southington are investigating the circumstances of her death.

Perry was previously questioned in the Hernandez case in North Attleboro, MA, but police have not released the nature of her involvement in the case, Southington Patch reported.

As for the fatal crash in Farmington, police said that the investigation is ongoing and that no further information is available at this time.
