Police: Two Arrested After Stealing Car, Crashing

Arrests for June 13

Farmington Police have arrested two people after they allegedly stole a car, crashed into another vehicle and then fled the scene.

According to arrest records, Brandon Atwater, 25, of 12 Magnolia St., Hartford, was arrested June 12 on Scott Swamp Road and charged with evading responsibility, failure to drive right, interfering with an officer and third-degree larceny.

Police said he stole a vehicle in New Britain, crashed into a vehicle on Route 6 at Harold Road and then fled with two others who were in the car. Police found him at the Cumberland Farms on Route 6 and took him into custody, according to arrest reports. He was turned over to New Britain Police, where he faces additional charges.

Feleshia Hall, 36, of 112 Lasalle St. Apt. C2, New Britain, was arrested in connection with the same incident and charged with interfering with an officer. She was in the car, police said, and fled to the intersection of Plainville Avenue and Scott Swamp Road, where officers found her. She was released and scheduled to appear June 15, 2011.

Perfecto Valle, 49, of 40 Gardner St., Manchester, was arrested June 12 at the intersection of Plainville Avenue and Westwoods Drive and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 22, 2011.

Eugeniusz Kozlowski, 58, of 335 Center Road, Vernon, was arrested June 11 on the Colt Highway and charged with failure to drive right, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating under the influence. He was released on $250 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 22, 2011.

Ryan Keefe Apanovitch, 31, of 58 Deerfield Road, Bristol, was arrested June 10 at the intersection of Fienemann Road and Batterson Park Road and charged with failure to obey a traffic control signal and operating under the influence. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 22, 2011.

Latasha McDaniel, 26, of 399 Dekoven Drive, Apt. 2S, Middletown, was arrested by warrant June 10 at the intersection of Interstate 84 and Route 4 and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She is accused of stealing deposit money from Dunkin Donuts, where she used to work. McDaniel was released on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear June 13, 2011.
