Police: Woman Who Stole Jewelry Also Had Drugs That Weren't Hers

Cathleen Leon, 40, of 11 Hubbard Run Drive, Glastonbury, was arrested May 15 at Westfarms mall after she allegedly stole $1,500-worth of jewelry from Nordstroms and was found to be in possession of prescription drugs, according to police documents. Leon was charged with failure to keep narcotics in original container, three counts of illegally obtaining or supplying, fourth-degree larceny and possession of narcotics. She was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear May 24, 2011.

Eric Wayne Kimball, 35, of 30 Cross St., Bristol, was arrested May 15 at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and High Street and charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 25, 2011.

Mark Bowers, 32, of 211 Main St. Apt. A4, was arrested May 14 and charged with second-degree breach of peace in connection with a domestic incident. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 16, 2011.

Mark Atmore, 44, of 14 Goshen St., Hartford, was arrested May 14 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He is accused of shoplifting from Lord & Taylor. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 18, 2011.

Corsel Duffus, 22, of 10 Talcottview Drive, Bloomfield, was arrested May 14 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 18, 2011.

Scott Brophy, 28, of 2 Auburn Road, West Hartford, was arrested May 14 at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Farmington Avenue and charged with failure to drive right, failure to have insurance, operating under suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 25, 2011.
