Police arrested five people in Middletown after a woman bumped another car with her door. A profanity-laced scuffle in the streets ensued.

Car Door Rage Is the New Road Rage

The case: Police in Middletown charged five people with breach of peace after breaking up an expletive-heavy disagreement on March 11 in front of the town's social services department, according to police.

The twist: Police report that the fight between the two groups started after one woman exited her car and accidently bumped the car next to hers with her door. The various participants threatened to punch each other and damage the car, police said.

The case: Police charged a man in Fairfield with breach of peace on March 26, according to police.

The twist: The man returned to a Fairfield  according to police. He also threw a bag of food through the drive-thru window, hitting the manager in the chest, police said. 

Looking to Cash in at the Senior Center

The case: Police charged a Norwalk man with third-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace when he was found outside of the Norwalk Senior Center exhibiting strange behavior, according to police.

The twist: The man told police that he was peering into the senior center's windows and walking around the building on March 27 for two reasons: to find change and to locate the source of a marijuana smell in the area, police said.

Local NFL Player Charged with Assault

The case: A Middletown man was charged with risk of injury to a child, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault on March 26, according to police.

The twist: The man charged was , police said. Spievey got into a physical fight with the mother of his child over child support payments, police said. The child's mother, LisaMarie Santos, was also charged with risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct, according to police.

The case: Vernon police report that they are searching for two suspects after an attempted armed robbery Tuesday at Tri-City Plaza.

The twist: , a late-1990s black Honda Civic with a loud exhaust, police said. The witness suffered minor injuries, police report.
