Driving to Harass, Medication Theft Among Charges

Zishan Afghaine, 21, of 50 Burlington Road, Unionville, was arrested March 11 on Plainville Avenue following a road rage incident, police said. Afghaine was charged with disorderly conduct, improper passing, and driving with intent to harass or intimidate. He was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 21, 2012.

Pedro Orlando Ortiz, 21, of 71 Roberts St., New Britain, was arrested March 11 on Ely Road during a disturbance investigation. He was charged with operating without a license, operating under the influence and unsafe backing. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 21, 2012.

Timothy John Cummings, 26, of 367 West Center St., Manchester, was arrested March 11 at the Farmington Avenue Connector and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, failure to drive right and operating under the influence. Cummings was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 21, 2012.

Hollie Hassan, 47, of 6 Union St., Branford, was arrested March 11 at 362 Scott Swamp Road and charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, using a handheld mobile telephone and operating under the influence. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear March 21, 2012.

Jazzlynn Edwards, 21, of 250 Hamilton St., Hartford, was arrested March 10 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a written promise to appear and scheduled to appear March 21, 2012.

Davide Belliveau, 46, of 1726 Farmington Ave., Unionville, was arrested March 10 at home and charged with second-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer. According to police, Belliveau assaulted two friends during an argument. He was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear March 12, 2012.

Victoria Welna, 24, of 135 Burlington Road, Unionville, was arrested by warrant March 9 at home and charged with sixth-degree larceny. According to police, Welna is accused of stealing medication from a relative. She was held on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear March 12, 2012.
