Second Teen Allegedly Uses Fake ID to Buy Alcohol

Joseph Johnson, 43, of 18 Benham St., Bristol, was arrested Jully 1 at 1814 New Britain Ave., and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and possession of a controlled substance or less than 4 ounces of marijuana. According to police, Johnson was arrested after being caught stealing scrap metal from a dumpster at M & A Construction. He posted $5,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in court July 11, 2012.

John Augustus Shea, 64, of 175 Union St., Bristol, was arrested July 1 at 1814 New Britain Ave., and charged with third-degree criminal trespassing, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. According to police, Johnson was arrested after being caught stealing scrap metal from a dumpster at M & A Construction. He posted $5,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in court July 11, 2012.

James A Tyler, 48, of 39 Shuttle Meadow Road, Plainville, was arrested July 1 at the intersection of Main Street and Porter Road and was charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 11, 2012.

Kimberlee Merrill, 18, of 25 Highgate Road, Newington, was arrested June 30 at Westfarms and charged with sixth-degree larceny, possession of less than one half ounce of marijuana on first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 11, 2012.

Terrell Richard Grant, 26, of 25 Broad St., Plainville, was arrested June 30 at the intersection Reservoir Road and the Colt Highway and charged with failure to keep right on a curve or hill and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 11, 2012.

Christian Sinche-arpi, 23, of 79 Laird Road, Bristol, was arrested June 29 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was released on $1,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 11, 2012.

Brendan Lane, 18, of 140 Oakridge, Unionville, was arrested June 29 at 20 Main St. and was charged with misrepresenting his age to procure alcohol. According to police, Lane used fake identification to try to buy alcohol at the Bottle Shop. He was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear July 11, 2012.
