Several Mall Arrests This Week

Arrests for Sept. 23

Margaret Andrea Chojnicki, 38, of 53 Lincoln St., New Britain, was arrested Sept. 19 after turning herself in on a warrant. She was charged with second-degree failure to appear and released after posting $1,000 surety bond. Chojnicki is scheduled to appear Sept. 20, 2011.

Shaiquale Tavon Engram, 18, of 30 Otis St., Hartford, was arrested Sept. 19 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a written promise to appear and scheduled to appear Sept. 28, 2011.

Lisa Marie Lucisano-McQuade, 49, of 41 Garvan St., Newington, was arrested Sept. 19 during a court appearance in Hartford. Lucisano-McQuade was charged with second-degree breach of peace, failure to change address, failure to change address registration and reckless driving. According to arrest reports, the charges are related to a road rage incident on July 13. Lucisano-McQuade was held on $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear Sept. 19, 2011.

Jeniqua Aliana Yopp, 20, of 45 Roberts St., New Britain, was arrested Sept. 20 at 125 Columbus Boulevard. According to arrest reports, Yopp is accused of embezzling money from JCPenney, where she used to work. She was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny and two counts of conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. She was held on $3,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 21, 2011.

Timothy J Barry, 54, of 544 Park St., Hartford, was arrested by warrant Sept 20 at Westfarms mall and charged with creating a public disturbance and failure to pay or plead. He was released on a $65 cash bond and scheduled to appear on those charges Oct. 4, 2011. He was also arrested on a New Britain warrant and charged with creating a public disturbance and failure to respond.

Calvin Godwin, 46, of 57 Hemlock St., Manchester, was arrested Sept. 22 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. He is accused of shoplifting from H&M. Godwin was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 28, 2011.

Stephanie Lynn Cartagena, 25, of 263 Blue Hills Ave., Hartford, was arrested Sept. 22 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and possession of a shoplifting device. She was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 28, 2011.
