Third Arrested in Lexton Drive Car Break-Ins

Nermina Dautovic, 19 of 85 Sterling St., New Britain, was arrested by warrant at home and charged with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary. Dautovic is one of several people arrested in connection with a handful of car break-ins on Lexton Drive in November 2011. According to police, the group was identified after allegedly committing a similar crime in another town and one suspect was found with identification from a Farmington victim. Dautovic was held on $10,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Dec. 19, 2011.
Gregory Karl Matava, 40, of 25 Maple Ave., Collinsville, was arrested Dec. 18 at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Lakeshore Drive and charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 4, 2011.
Ashley Kittrell, 28, of 3 Cypress Trail, was arrested Dec. 17 at the intersection of Meadow Road and Red Oak Hill and charged with failure to drive right, operating under the influence and using a hand-held mobile telephone. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Jan. 4, 2011.
