Three Injured in Birdseye Crash

East Farmington Fire Department extricated one passenger.

Three people were taken to area hospitals after a two-car crash at the intersection of Wolf Pit Road and Birsdeye Road Tuesday evening.

According to Farmington Police Sgt. Tim McKenzie, the accident is still under investigation but it appears that a Toyota Corolla driving down Wolf Pit didn’t stop at a stop sign and broadsided an oncoming Acura. The Corolla had a driver and one passenger, who was extricated by East Farmington firefighters.

The two people in the Corolla and the driver of the Acura were all transported by ambulance to Hartford Hospital and St. Francis Hospital with non-lifethreatening injuries, McKenzie said.
