Father-Daughter Pair Charged

Michelle Edwina Norman, 25, of 64 Rhodes St., New Britain, was arrested Oct. 13 at the New Britain Police Department and charged with third-degree larceny. Arrest reports indicate Norman is accused of stealing money from cash register and giving merchandise to friends while employed at JC Penney at Westfarms mall. The total theft is over $2,300, police said. She was released on $3,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 18, 2011.

Kai Walker, 31, of 73 Mansfield St., Hartford, was arrested Oct. 13 at 314 Scott Swamp Road and charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear. Walker was arrested by warrant and held on $2,000 surety bond. He was scheduled to appear Oct. 13, 2011.

Bruce Frederick Churchill, 62, of 23 Lovely St., Canton, was arrested Oct. 12 at 291 Farmington Ave. and charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree unlawful restraint. The arrest came after a domestic disturbance with his daughter, according to arrest reports. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 13, 2011.

Jenny Welch Churchill, 29, of 400 Mountain Road, Canton, was arrested Oct. 12 at 291 Farmington Ave. and charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree reckless endangerment. According to arrest reports, the arrest came after a domestic disturbance with her father. She was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 13, 2011.

Daniel Kamiar Algilani, 30, of 900 Mountain Road, Cheshire, was arrested Oct. 12 at the Cumberland Farms on Route 6. She was charged with operating under the influence and released on $1,500 non-surety bond. She was scheduled to appear Oct. 19, 2011.

Richard Cephas, 72, of 41 Paper Chase Drive, was arrested Oct. 13 at home after a domestic disturbance investigation. He was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with a 911 call. He was held on $2,500 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 14, 2011.

Rachael Sullivan, 43, of 14 Skyline Drive, was arrested Oct. 13 at home and charged with second-degree giving a false statement and interfering with an officer. She was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Oct 18, 2011.
