Vandalizing Ex's Car, Driving Wrong Way Among Alleged Crimes

Kenneth Raymond Lebrun, 23, of 135 Smart St., East Hartford, was arrested April 29 on the Colt Highway and charged with distracted driving, driving the wrong way on a one-way road, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 9, 2012.

James Grier, 26, of 15 Pomfret St., Hartford, was arrested by warrant April 28 at 222 Main St. and charged with violation of probation. He was held on $25,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear April 30, 2012.

Darnell Jerome Davis, 30, of 125 Mallard Drive, Avon, was arrested after turning himself in to police April 28 after allegedly vandalizing his ex-girlfriend’s car and violating a court order. Davis is charged with second-degree criminal mischief and criminal violation of a protective order. He was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear April 30, 2012.

Naren Parker, 37, of 246 Clark St., New Britain, was arrested April 28 at Westfarms mall and charged with sixth-degree larceny. Parker is accused of shoplifting from Lord & Taylor, according to police. She was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 9, 2012.

Juan Jose Cruz, 33, of 155 New Britain Ave., Unionville, was arrested April 28 on New Britain Avenue and charged with failure to have stop lamps, operating under suspension, operating under the influence and traveling unreasonably fast. Cruz was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 9, 2012.

Zachary Magalhaes, 24, of 242 Duncaster Road, Bloomfield, was arrested April 28 at the intersection of South and Middle Roads and charged with improper use of high beams and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear May 9, 2012.

Victoria Ann Welna, 24, of 135 Burlington Road, Unionville, was arrested by warrant April 27 at home and charged with second-degree failure to appear and interfering with an officer. According to police, Welna hid from police to avoid being arrested. She was released on $5,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear May 7, 2012.
