Weapons, Pills Found at Alleged Drug Deal on Bridge

Arrests for June 10

Maureen Maher, 21, of 199 Pinnacle Road, Bristol, was arrested June 10 at the intersection of Plainville Avenue and Pine Hollow Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to obey a control signal, operating under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. Maher was released on $2,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 20, 2011.

Michalina Parlin, 44, of 28 Dewey Ave., Bristol, was arrested June 9 on the Vincent DiPietro Memorial Bridge after an anonymous caller told police a drug sale was taking place. Police investigated and found Parlin had 75 roxicodone pills, 1 hydrocodone pill and 14 ativan pills, according to arrest records. Parlin was charged with failure to keep narcotics in original container, illegal manufacture, distribution or sale by non-drug dependent, illegal obtaining or supplying and possession of narcotics. She was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 14, 2011.

Wayne Parlin, 1325 Burnside Ave., East Hartford was arrested June 9 on the Vincent DiPietro Memorial Bridge after an anonymous caller told police a drug sale was taking place. Police investigated and found Parlin had 8 roxicodone pills, 4 ativan pills and double-edged throwing knives in his car, according to arrest records. Parlin was charged with failure to keep narcotics in original container, illegal manufacture, distribution or sale by non-drug dependent, illegal obtaining or supplying, possession of narcotics and weapons in a motor vehicle. He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 14, 2011.

Phillip Fierro, 49, of 312 Scott Swamp Road, Apt. 1, was arrested at home June 9 and charged with interfering with a 911 call. He was released on $5,000 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear June 14, 2011.

Angel Silva, 29, of 100 West St., New Britain, was arrested June 9 on a warrant and charged with second-degree failure to appear. He was held on $2,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear June 10, 2011.
