Young People Charged With Driving Under the Influence

Arrests for Sept. 6

Ryan A Mennett, 18, of 3 Katherine Gaylord, Burlington, was arrested Sept. 5 at the intersection of Main Street and Porter Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than 4 ounces of marijuana, possession of narcotics and traveling unreasonably fast. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 13, 2011.

Matthew McGinn, 39, of 65 Meadowbrook Road, West Hartford, was arrested at the intersection of Farmington Avenue and Forest Park. He was charged with failure to drive right and operating under the influence. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 14, 2011.

Ami Lee Nicholls, 24, of 141 State St., Chicopee, MA, was arrested Sept. 4 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, following too close, operating under the influence and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana following a motor vehicle accident. She was released on $1,500 and scheduled to appear Sept. 13, 2011.

Harry Perez, 32, of 59 Mill Pond Road, Apt. T22, Broad Brook, was arrested Sept. 4 at Lord & Taylor and charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear on warrants out of East Hartford. Perez was held on $8,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 21, 2011.

Alexander Melluzzo, 18, of 2 Trotters Glen, was arrested Sept. 4 at the intersection of Main Street and Hatters Lane and charged with evading responsibility, failure to obey a stop sign, operating under the influence under age 21 and operating under the influence. According to arrest reports, Melluzzo tried to flee the scene of an accident. He was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 21, 2011.

Maggie Stovall, 18, of 10 Maplewood Road, was arrested Sept. 4 at the intersection of Plainville Avenue and Webster Street and charged with failure to obey a traffic control signal, operating under the influence under age 21 and operating under the influence. She was released on $1,500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear Sept. 14, 2011.

Robert Jackson-lindsey, 26, of 6062 Judson St., Hartford, was arrested Sept. 3 at Westfarms mall after allegedly shoplifting from Abercrombie. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny and was released on $100 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear Sept. 14, 2011.

Ian Walsh Martinelli, 23, of 15 Glenwood Drive, Plainville, turned himself in at the police department Sept. 3 after allegedly engaging an officer in pursuit on a motorcycle. He was charged with disobeying a signal, operating under suspension and speeding. Martinelli was released on a written promise to appear in court Sept. 14, 2011.
