POLITICAL EXPERIENCE:  I have always involved myself in learning and gaining an understanding of past and present political activities within Farmington for most of my life. This however, will be my first attempt to run for election .

Why are you running for office: I was born and raised in Farmington. I am a third generation citizen of this great town, who is now raising & educating our children here. I have a deep love and respect for Farmington and all it has given us. I have given back to my town in the capacity of a volunteer- and now, I would like to do so in a political capacity.  I have witnessed tremendous growth, and outstanding achievement in all areas of this great town and I hope to be more engaged in my involvement.

IF ELECTED, WHAT WOULD BE YOUR PRIMARY AREAS OF FOCUS? My primary areas of focus would be to always regard each Zoning Board applicant and issue with the utmost respect and regard, but more importantly to uphold the purpose and intent to promote and protect the public health, safety and welfare of all involved. As a successful business owner I am able to understand many aspects of environmental, architectural and economic issues that may be involved. I will always focus on each issue with regard to a positive outcome for Farmington and its citizens.

WHAT ISSUES OR OPPORTUNITIES IS THE TOWN FACING TODAY?  We are facing a challenge to keep what is valued about Farmington ( it’s Historic and revered attributes ) in balance with what is needed to provide a continued quality of life and quality of economic viability. We need to always be mindful of our decisions and their influence on the future of our children.  In any proposal that comes before the Board, we need to be sure that it results in a ‘compliment’ and not an’ insult’ to this beautiful town.

HOW WOULD YOU PROPOSE TO ADDRESS THEM? In the position that I am seeking, I would propose to address any future plans with an open mind and try to strike the right balance for the town and its strategic plan and I would serve with complete dedication and involvement.
