The Town Plan and Zoning Commission will conduct a workshop on May 17, 2011 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall Council Chambers on the subject of regulating large home development within established neighborhoods. The Commission will be soliciting questions and comments on the issue of whether they should develop and adopt zoning regulations that will control the size and height of expanded single family homes and new single family homes as the result of teardowns, infill or subdivision activity in order to ensure compatibility with surrounding older existing homes.
