Farmington Animal Control Officer Giving Bear Presentation

She'll talk about the Black Bear and what you should do to co-exist with it.

Charlene Rogers, the Animal Control Officer for the Town of Farmington, will offer a presentation on Black Bear in Connecticut at the Farmington Police Department, 319 New Britain Avenue, on April 20th, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Yates Community Room.

Topics will include basic facts about Black Bear in Connecticut, preventing Human/Bear conflicts, bear proofing your home and what to do if you encounter a bear. If time permits, other topics of co-existing with other native wildlife will be discussed.

The presentation will be held free of charge.
