UPDATED: Next Year's State Funds for Farmington Level With This Year

The state has released a database of how much money each town received this year and what's on the books for next year.

The Connecticut General Assembly has released a database detailing how much each town in the state receives from the state government. 

Farmington received $5,493,324 this year and is approved to receive the same amount this year, according to Alan Calandro, Director of the Office of Fiscal Analysis.

The report in the Hartford Courant says that the town will be receiving 5,467,637, which is half of a percent less but Calandro says that information is not up to date. Calandro said the number does not include two grants that have recently been accounted for.

According to another database posted on the Hartford Courant, Farmington received $1,600,013 in education funds this year and is also approved to receive the same amount next year.
