From the Town: Taxes due by August 1

A reminder to pay your taxes by the end of this week.

The Town of Farmington Tax Collector's Office would like to remind residents and business owners that they have until August 1, 2012 to pay their real estate/personal property/motor vehicle taxes and special service charges.  If you are missing tax bills, please contact us by:

Your payment options include:

  • Cash (accepted at Tax Collector’s Office in Town Hall)
  • Checks (accepted through the mail or at Tax Collector’s Office in Town Hall)
  • *Online payments (accepted through our website at www.farmington-ct.org)
  • *Payment kiosk at Town Hall (available for online payments only)

"We want to be sure all taxpayers are aware of the deadline so that they can avoid penalties, as failure to receive a bill does not abate the interest charges assessed on all unpaid bills as of August 2, 2012," said Tax Collector Christine Robinson.
