Last Chance: Bicycle Friendly Committee Volunteer Application

The deadline to submit an application to be involved with Farmington's effort to improve the climate, safety and accommodation of bicyclists is Feb. 22.

The League of American Bicyclists' feedback report indicates Farmington has many of the initial building blocks in place to move forward with pursuing Bicycle Friendly Community status. But the report also indicates that there is much to be done - most of it by a Bicycle Advisory Committee the town has yet to form.

To progress with the work, Farmington is forming a committee, to be composed of citizens and Town Council members. Anyone interested in participating in the town's work to become more bicycle friendly is asked to complete the attached application before Feb. 22.
