Night games, purchase of lot also on agenda

Farmington’s legislative delegation will be at tonight’s Town Council meeting to hear the town’s concerns and to give a report on the situation at the Capitol. Representatives Brian Becker and William Wadsworth and Senator Beth Bye are expected to be present.

The Town Council’s agenda tonight includes the extension of night games at Farmington High School from six games to 10 for lacrosse teams and a public hearing on whether the town should purchase a .29 acre lot at 7 Railroad Avenue for $7,000.

Town Manager Kathy Eagen will also discuss the town’s snow budget and a possible regional deal to offer residents and small businesses lower electrical rates in cooperation with neighboring towns.
