Wadsworth, a lifelong Farmington resident, spoke to the college students about his experiences in the past as a boat builder, a member of the U.S. Army Military Police and as the Vice President of a construction company. During the event, Wadsworth sincerely expressed to the students that the key to success is finding a way to “turn your passion into a career.”

“It pleases me to see how Tunxis Community College has created such a dynamic, state of the art learning environment for their students. Without-a-doubt, an education from Tunxis gives a recent graduate the upper hand when applying for jobs,” said Wadsworth. “Every student I had the pleasure to talk with today displayed great enthusiasm and seemed very dedicated to accomplishing their personal goals upon graduation – it’s very uplifting. I’m very happy the Tunxis Business Club invited me to speak. I can only hope that my story, and the stories of my colleagues, helped encourage these young students to keep following their dreams.”
