Mike Demicco Takes Oath of Office as State Representative

Freshman legislator appointed to Education, Internship and Public Health Committees.

Mike Demicco took the oath of office as State Representative during opening day ceremonies of the General Assembly in Hartford Wednesday. Demicco will represent the 21st Assembly District of Farmington and Unionville in the 2013 - 2014 legislative session.

"I am humbled and thankful to everyone who supported me. Without your help and guidance this would not have been possible," said Representative Demicco. "I am very pleased to have been selected to serve, and promise to do my best to represent the people of Farmington and Unionville at the State Capitol." 

State Representative Demicco has been appointed by House Speaker Brendan Sharkey (D-Hamden) to serve on the Education, Internship and Public Health Committees.

"I look forward to working on the pressing issues confronting Connecticut, particularly the state's finances, public health and safety, and funding for our schools," said Demicco.
